Ingredients, orders and access.
The website is intentionally direct about what a functional cafe can and cannot promise.
Are the drinks medical treatments?
No. Haven sells food and beverages, not medical care. Functional ingredients are included for culinary, cultural and consumer-interest reasons. The menu does not claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
What does “adaptogenic” mean on this menu?
It identifies an ingredient commonly marketed or traditionally discussed as an adaptogen, such as certain mushrooms or herbs. The label is informational and not a promise of a specific effect.
Can functional ingredients interact with medication?
Yes, some herbs, mushrooms and concentrated extracts can interact with medications or be unsuitable in pregnancy, breastfeeding, before surgery or with certain conditions. Ask a qualified clinician or pharmacist about your circumstances.
Is the kitchen gluten-free or nut-free?
No. Some recipes are made without gluten-containing ingredients, but the kitchen is shared. Nuts, sesame, soy, dairy, eggs, wheat and other allergens may be present. Cross-contact is possible.
Are all products vegan?
No. Many are vegan and labeled “V.” Honey, dairy, eggs or collagen may appear in selected products or optional modifications. Ask for the current ingredient list.
Can I pay through this website?
Not in this static version. The cart and checkout create a structured pickup request through Netlify Forms. Payment processing requires a verified service such as Stripe, Square or Toast and should be connected after the merchant account is approved.
Where do form submissions go?
After deployment with form detection enabled, Netlify captures submissions in the site's Forms dashboard. Configure email notifications in Netlify so the team receives each request.
Is Haven currently open?
The site is configured as “opening soon.” Confirm lease, suite, permits, operating hours and inspection status before changing the announcement to “now open.”
Is 235 Mitchell Street accessible?
The site includes an accessibility commitment, but physical accessibility details must be verified on location. Before opening, publish confirmed information about step-free access, restroom access, door width, seating and service accommodations.
Who is Moch?
Moch is Layne Pinkney's orange tabby and Haven's illustrated director of rest. He is a brand mascot, not a cafe animal, unless local health regulations and operating policies explicitly permit otherwise.
